Hon. Fred Rice, a veteran of two combat tours in Vietnam, one with the elite U.S. Army Special Forces (the “Green Berets”) and one in command of an artillery battery of the 25th Infantry Division. (Hon. Fred Rice has been awarded The Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, and Ranger and Airborne qualifications. He attained the rank of Major.)
State Senator Sharon Carson, a US Army and the Army Reserve veteran who retired in 1995 after 17 years of service (Sen. Carson is on the Board of Governors, Vesta Roy Women in Government Series; Senate Representative, State Veterans Advisory Council; Member, Post 27, American Legion)
Michael Hagan, a member of the NH Army National Guard, served our country with high distinction as a combat medic in Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) with C co. 3-172 IN (MTN) (Mike received the Combat Medical Badge and the Bronze Star Medal.
