Imagine being singled out in your classroom, summoned to the front of a 700-person auditorium, and prejudged for the color of your skin. Nothing about your life but your skin color is taken into consideration. In essence, being told that your success or your failures are all because of your skin color, or your own internal biases or the biases of those around us determine your success in life.
